TEHRAN – Iran’s Energy Ministry plans to add 3440 megawatts (MW) capacity of new power plants to the country’s electricity network during the current Iranian calendar year (March 21, 2017- March 20, 2018), IRNA reported on Monday.
South Korea’s SK Engineering & Construction (SK E&C) has teamed up with a Turkish firm for a multi-billion-dollar project to build and operate new power plants in Iran with a combined generation capacity of 5,000 megawatts, the South Korean firm said Saturday.
