    Olasbelangah: Green countryside on rolling hills

    An aerial video depicts portions of Olasbelangah village that is nested on foothills of the Alborz mountain range. Teeming with timeless yet spectacular sceneries, wooden cottages and sounds of birds, the picturesque area is sometimes referred to as a lost paradise in northern Iran. The countryside can be reached via a 30-kilometer-long curvy road commences from Masal, itself a popular tourist destination in Gilan Province.

    The second sheep-washing local festival was held in Kelisham village, northern Gilan province, on Wednesday. Sheep-washing is traditionally held in mid-September annually at Khalashkuh riverbank prior to sheep-shearing.
