Iran stages highest number of overseas polling booths in U.S.

TEHRAN – Iran is going to stage the highest number of overseas polling booths in the United States, totaling 55, according to the deputy foreign minister for consular, parliamentary, and Iranian expatriates’ affairs.

Hassan Qashqavi told ISNA on Wednesday that the presidential election will be held in 102 countries and 132 Iranian missions overseas on May 19. 

He added that notably there will be 22 polling stations in Iraq, 21 in the United Arab Emirates, and 12 in the UK.
