October 25, 2016

TEHRAN -In a meeting with outstanding youths held in Tehran on Oct 19, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei rapped presidential debates for being void of spirituality.

“Take a look at the condition of U.S. presidential elections. They have narrowed it down to two individuals. Look at their debates. Notice what they are doing and saying to one another. One of these two individuals will become president. In which place? In a large, densely populated and rich country that is the peak of human science. One of these two individuals will become the president of this country. It has the largest number of atomic weapons and the most wealth at its disposal. And it also has the biggest media in the world in its fist. The head of this country will be one of these two individuals and you can see what and who they are. This is because of lack of spirituality. This is because of lack of faith.”
